The short sword bokken, also referred to as wazikashi or shoto, is the complementary sword to the long sword. It is used in the less dominant hand.
Hickory Arms’ is proud to offer bokken made from hickory: a strong, dense, shock resistant and beautiful wood. The short sword has an overall length of 32″ or 34.5″, but can also be made a custom length. The standard handle is 10.25″
The training bokken are tsuba ready and are available with beautiful hardwood trim or waxed cotton cord for a more ergonomic fit and impact absorption.
