A knight typically took his squire into battle and gave him a chance to prove himself. The Daab is a sword used in Krabi Krabong, a Thai weapon-based martial art. What is interesting about the Daab is its long handle that is used as a counter weight to the blade making it decently balanced and able to be used as sword and club.
